Nekomata Games LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. It applies to all current and future Nekomata Games titles.

Nekomata Games LLC is an independent video game studio based in Lehi, Utah, USA. We develop games and interactive experiences primarily for VR platforms including Meta Quest and Steam.

This policy covers two categories of our Services:

Single-player games with no online features do not collect any personal data.

  • Headset type and operating system version (for diagnostics and compatibility)
  • Platform account identifier (e.g., your Meta or Steam ID) used to link your account across sessions and platforms

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Your real name or physical address
  • Payment card numbers or financial account information (all payments are processed by Meta or Steam directly)
  • Precise GPS or physical location data

Note: We are currently transitioning from Unity Gaming Services to Photon Fusion and Microsoft PlayFab for certain features. During this period, one or both sets of services may be active depending on the version of the game you are playing.

  1. Voice Chat

Some of our games include real-time in-game voice chat powered by Vivox. Voice data is transmitted between players in real time and is not recorded, stored, or processed by Nekomata Games. Vivox’s own privacy policy governs their handling of voice data during transmission.

  1. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Passwords are never stored in plain text. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our games and services are intended for users aged 13 and older. By creating an account or using our online services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, or that a parent or legal guardian has provided consent on your behalf if you are under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete that account and all associated data.
